As speculation regarding the Orlando Pirates winger grows, Jose Riveiro says, “It’s not going to happen,” in response to Monnapule Saleng’s questioning.

WHAT OCCURRED? Monnapule Saleng has been left out of matchday squads since making his final appearance with the Orlando Pirates in a competitive game in the beginning of December 2024. During the January player transfer window, the 26-year-old was being connected to a move to the Gulf Region; however, the Buccaneers have denied the rumors. In response to a query over the whereabouts of his winger, coach Jose Riveiro has stepped in.

When the club decides it’s appropriate to discuss which players are hurt, how long they will take to recover, and what stage of recovery they are in, they will.
